Brenda started her real estate career in 1986 as a licensed real estate sales agent in Hawaii. In 1990, she obtained her Real Estate Broker's license. She practiced Real Estate full time doing general brokerage, selling new homes and re-sale homes and started with Coldwell Banker McCormack Real Estate. Prior to her affiliation with Castle & Cooke Homes, she was the sales manager at Schuler Homes Hawaii, another large new home developer. 

Throughout her real estate career, Brenda continues to educate herself by attending real estate educational seminars and workshops. She volunteers her time to assist with, and leads various real estate committees for the Honolulu Board of Realtors and the Hawaii Association of Realtors. 

Brenda Mahoney (R) (CRS) (GRI) was named Realtor of the Year in 2005. The award honors her accomplishments as the top home sales agent of new homes built by Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii, Inc. Mahoney, a real estate veteran of 20 years, joined Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii, Inc. in 2001. Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii also honored Mahoney as their Customer Service Employee of the Year in 2004 and 2005. This was a result of a survey of Brenda's customers, which showed a proven track record of the highest rating for customer service company-wide.
